This is a joint venture company established by Nanjing Panda Electronics Company Ltd., Ericsson Sweden and Yong Xing enterprises, H.K. to manufacture communication system products including the design, production, sales and installation of GSM/CDMA digital mobile communication system and switches. The company was incorporated in 1992 and has been authorized by the Ministry of Information as the first Sino-foreign joint venture licensed to access to digital mobile communication system. In 2000 it was honoured to be one of the "top 500 foreign invested enterprises" as well as one of the "top 100 high technology enterprises " in China. For the time being it has grown into the supply centre of Ericsson in Asia-Pacific Region.
